Recreatiepark De Groote Vliet closely follows the developments surrounding the corona virus.The guidelines can be found on the website of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). https://www.rivm.nl/ We strictly follow their advice.
We do our utmost to keep our page as current and accurate as possible.
At the moment we receive a lot of telephone questions via our reception. Unfortunately, this can prevent you from being answered by telephone.
Arrivals before 01-06-2020:
Our park is not closed, you are still very welcome at our park. Our reception is open at normal times. However, only one person at a time may be present in the reception next to our employee. Upon entering we ask you to disinfect your hands, the means are available at the reception. If desired, we can work with an adjusted check-in and check-out procedure, so that you don’t have to have contact with one of our employees. If an employee of ours has to enter your home to, for example, resolve a malfunction, we ask you to temporarily leave the home. During your stay, observe the established hygiene rules that you will find in this article and you can enjoy a wonderful stay at our park.
Rebooking and cancellation with a arrival date before 1-06-2020.
If you prefer not to come, we offer you, out of courtesy, the opportunity to move your booking to another period this year. The total amount of the booking remains the same or increases. If the changed booking becomes more expensive, you pay the difference extra.
If you still want to cancel, you will owe your deposit and you will not receive it back. You can turn to your travel and / or cancellation insurance.
Because of this, we ask you only to contact us if your arrival date is before Juni 1, 2020. A later message will be sent for all arrivals from 1 Juni 2020. Keep an eye on this website!

Question: I want to cancel my holiday due to the Coronavirus outbreak. What will this mean for me?
Answer: View our terms and conditions at the bottom of the homepage. In these general conditions you will find our regular cancellation conditions. It states that you owe your deposit and will not receive it back.
Question: I want to cancel my holiday at my holiday destination because of the Coronavirus outbreak (in the region). Are vacation days not taken reimbursed?
Answer:There are no special security risks in our region yet. If you still want to cancel your holiday, your travel and / or cancellation insurance provides a definite answer.
Do you want to change or cancel your booking?
Please only contact us if you have a booking with an arrival in before Juni 1, 2020! This can be done by telephone or email. For a booking with an arrival after June 1, 2020, keep an eye on this website.
Pay attention! If you book last minute, this is at your own risk and you cannot move or cancel the booking!
Additional information regarding the corona virus
We would like to inform you that we are closely monitoring the situation with regard to the Corona virus. We use the RIVM guidelines as a starting point for precautions to be taken. If you have complaints of a cold, cough, sore throat or fever, you will stay indoors. In case of flu symptoms we advise you to contact your doctor as soon as possible and to stay at home. We advise all attendees, visitors and employees to follow the general hygiene rules:
- Wash hands regularly.
- Cough and sneeze in the inside of your elbow;
- Use paper tissues;
- Avoid contact with people with respiratory complaints (cough, cold, etc.);
- Greet each other verbally.
- Stay 1.5m away from others.
- Group formation is prohibited, you must also adhere to the rules on your own (rented) plot.
If you show any symptoms, please do not come to our reception, but instead contact the GP on duty from Monday to Friday from 08:00 – 17:00: 0228-581199 and the reception: +31228-583229. Outside the opening hours of the general practitioner, call the Central General Practionerpost +31229-297800. This is for weekend, evening, or public holidays in which medical care cannot wait until the next day.
